Ammo entered rehab after being shot - with a real bullet! Luckily, it didn't break any bones, but bullet fragments left in the wound now prevent Ammo from lifting his wing enough to fly up high.
Because of his limitations, it was determined that Ammo was better suited for placement as an educational ambassador. Ammo is still working on his people skills but thrives in the company of other birds; he would live his best life in a "flock," either joining an existing group of crows or in an enclosure in the middle of a home with lots of enrichment.

With his injury, Ammo is only able to fly short distances and not very high, so he would need an enclosure with lots of perches for him to use to get around.

Ammo currently resides at a facility in Florida but can be transferred elsewhere. If you are interested in adding Ammo to your facility’s roster, please contact Beth at 1-904-962-2977 or bethwcummings@gmail.com.
