It came into rehabilitation after being found unable to fly and easy to catch. It was found to have a complete amputation of the L wing at the elbow at admission. This amputation was already fully healed and healed well.

The duck is accepting of basic cares happening around him, and will walk to new areas when encouraged to do so. He does not like to be picked up or physically touched.
He is warily of new people and does not show affection to people.

He would do best with a flock of waterfowl, or with a companion duck. He would not be well suited for educational programming that includes handling on a regular basis. He would work well for display and fostering.
