The Amos Rehabilitation Keep (ARK) in Port Aransas, TX has a Piping Plover, Charadrius melodus, for placement. The bird came in to care unwilling to extend his/her right wing and has not shown any improvement during the course of treatment. The bird bathes, eats, and otherwise functions well besides not being able to fly.

We are happy to assist planning shipping and transportation, but request that the receiving facility assist by covering the cost of shipment.
