I have a 501(c)3 organization that is fully self supporting with just 2 mailings a year that I founded and run. The sanctuary owns its own land - 4 1/2 acres and 4 structures dwell on it.
I would very much like to see my non profit pass into someone’s hands who can continue my mission or even make changes to it. It would only work however if my home was purchased as well so you would have access to the sanctuary. This would be my ideal choice. However if someone wanted to operate the non profit for other wildlife that could work as well. Third choice would be someone who just loves wildlife and wants to live surrounded with beautiful songbirds and and almost every wild mammal known to CT. The sanctuary land would then revert to Southington Land Trust where it would be protected from development.
My home is separate and sits on its own acre of land which borders the sanctuary on 2 sides. My home is an antique center chimney colonial that has been fully updated and restored by myself. I have lived in the home since 1993 and love it with all my heart and soul! I am looking to sell my home for $330k.
