At intake, Valley, a barred owl, was brought to the center after it was found injured. An examination revealed a fractured left humerus. Unfortunately, this injury will prevent this animal from being able to fly properly. However, this animal can navigate its enclosure and can perch high with the use of ramps. Valley has a good personality and with the proper training this animal would make a wonderful addition to your facility for use as an educational or ambassador animal.

If interested in this animal, please do not let distance stand in the way. We are more than happy to help coordinate travel. Please note: the receiving facility is responsible for all charges associated with placement or transport of the animal.
Now that rehab is complete, we will be glad to answer any questions you may have regarding the placement of this animal. To help make your inquiry easier, this animal’s intake number is 20-0278.
