These two American White Pelicans, came to our facility at the same time due to wing injuries. One has a fracture of the left metacarpal, that healed inappropriately. The other has a dislocation at the elbow of the left wing. It does droop slightly, but otherwise it doesn't bother the bird. We would like for them to be placed together, as they have developed a bond with one another. At the moment, they reside in one of our compounds with geese, swans, and a sandhill crane, so they can be housed with other birds if need be. They eat both live and dead fish very well.
