The IWRC is a volunteer organization with 501(c)(3) status.  None of the material on our site is used for profit.  Where possible we have used materials like photographs and clip-art that are in the public domain,  or that have been purchased by us and are permitted to be reused.  If you see any copyright material on this site that we should not be using, please notify us and it will be removed immediately.

The articles, stories and summaries (except where noted) on Camp Cottontail are the property of the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council.  You may use most of our material freely,  but please let folks know where you got it,  please do not rewrite it or change it in any way that may make it appear incorrect, and please drop us a line letting us know how you're going to use it.  We're interested!

In some cases,  the authors of material on Camp Cottontail are allowing us to use it one-time only. In these cases,  you will see the copyright notification at the bottom of the article.  Please do not use this material in any way without the express permission of the author!

Many of the photographs on our site have been purchased from the Corel Professional Photo CD Series.  You are not permitted to download them from this site. You can see samples of these wonderful pictures at the Corel web site. Much of the clip-art comes from Environment.About.com.  Thanks to About.com and Patricia Michaels for allowing us to use it.

Some of the photographs on our site have been taken from other web sites.  If you hold your mouse over the photographs, the caption will either tell you what the photo is about,  or tell you where we got it.
