Strig is the owl pictured in the front.

This owl came to us in 2020 as an adult, so he is at least six years old. We believe he would thrive in a setting with staff experienced in positive reinforcement training or at a facility seeking a static display bird. While he is healthy and active, he would require more advanced training to be comfortable participating in education programs—training that we are not currently equipped to provide.
This decision was made with his best interest in mind, as we want to be realistic and intentional about providing the highest possible quality of care for the animals in our collection.
