Wildlife Rehabilitation Internship - Husbandry
Lindsay Wildlife Experience has one of the oldest and largest wildlife rehabilitation programs in the country. Our 200 volunteers care for more than 5,000 native California animals, from about 175 different species, each year.
This unpaid internship offers an unparalleled opportunity for hands-on experience concentrating on husbandry of injured or orphaned native California wildlife. This position requires a minimum of 15 hours per week for a 12-week session from May 24 – August 15. Husbandry Interns help provide husbandry care for wildlife patients and will assist in developing new husbandry/diet/enrichment procedures.
