Reason for entering rehabilitation.:

This Fish Crow entered rehabilitation due to abnormal feather growth (pinching off) and was transferred to our center in spring of 2025 for husbandry and treatment through the molt season. Despite several molts, the feathers continue to be abnormal, with twisting shafts.

Fish Crow seeks placement. 2024 hatch. Cosmetically beautiful. Intelligent, curious bird. Engages positively with enrichment. Not releasable due to twisting shafts of feathers, likely due to WNV. Has not had any training. Good display candidate. Potential for program use with training and time.
