this mud turtle was accidentally caught in a net alongside a haul of crawfish in louisiana. the turtle was not discovered until the haul arrived back in georgia.

This spunky little shell dweller came to our facility after being discovered amongst a haul of crawfish from all the way in Louisiana! After an evaluation period, we determined that they had no serious injuries or afflictions besides being so far from home. They are a lively, active turtle and would make an excellent addition to any organization’s educational program.
