More Information

This adult bald eagle was admitted to REGI in Antigo, WI after a car strike left him with a head injury that seems to affect his cognition. He is unable to get significant lift for flight and is therefore non-releasable. He has been with us for some time but unfortunately hasn't been able to regain his strength for flight. He has a calm demeanor and will occasionally vocalize at caretakers, and we believe he would make an incredible addition to a static display. He would need an enclosed space as he can get to some high perches at around 6 feet tall, and could hop from perch to perch to get higher.
