Reason for entering rehabilitation.:

The immature Bald eagle enter care after being hit by a car. The bird sustained soft tissue injuries, head trauma, and injury to one eye. Unfortunately, the eye injury has resulted in less than 90% vision, so isn't available for release. The bird is fully flighted.

Yes, the bird exhibits species-typical behaviors. The eagle is currently housed in an outdoor flight cage and is able to reach the highest perches.
