Western Painted Turtle
We have a western-painted turtle that was brought in for care this spring. It was caught in another state and kept in captivity for a year. It did have ear infections in both ears that have been treated. Their shell is also a bit flared due to past care. We are not able to release it due to its history. We are looking for permanent placement. It enjoys watching people from its tank so it would be great for display. It is young so it could be worked with for educational programming. It is a small male.
