Can get excited when caretakers approach due to associating with food. Comfortable with people for educational purposes. The turtle handling well, but has mostly been used as a static display animal in the last 3-5 years. Was used for an off-site educational program previously.
Generally sit comfortably in tank, or approached the side if it thinks they may have food.

Was hatched in the summer of 2013. Was illegally being raised for turtle soup. Has never been in the wild, hatched in captivity. Has outgrown it's current enclosure. We currently have multiple educational common snapping turtles and would like to rehome Aqua to make space for them both as they continue to grow.
