Currently this bird is not conditioned to be handled and has not been positively conditioned to caregivers. It is a wild bird that went through a prolonged medical treatment. Its negative mental welfare now is related to current situation, but I am hoping that an experienced goshawk handler or caregiver, or a hands off exhibit with comfortable distance from visitors, could improve this bird's status. It is young and physically able to get around and maintain itself. This is an unusual species for us and I am not familiar with how normal the behavior is, or how much it can change with appropriate conditioning.
