Hawk was rescued after being grounded for several days. Vet x-rays showed a coracoid fracture of her R shoulder. Her wing was body wrapped and underwent twice weekly bandage changes and PT at each bandage change. At end of treatment, she was deemed non-releasable due to R shoulder becoming displaced caudally and not having full range of motion in R wing.

She is a beautiful Red-tailed Hawk weighing 4 pounds. She was rescued after being grounded for several days. Despite body wrapping, her R shoulder was displaced caudally and does not have full range of motion and has been deemed non-releaseable by our Vet. She is in otherwise great condition and could have a quality life as an educational bird or static display bird.
