Adult --probably 2-3 years (based on lighter eye color when admitted)
Found down with leg paresis that turned out to be nerve related and not spinal injury as we first thought. Extensive therapy brought this bird back over many months. She is now functional and cosmetically normal looking. Her flight is asysmetrical (one leg dangles very slightly) so we deemed her non-releasable. After and extensive and fairly miraculous recovery (including time in a chicken harness to laser therapy and accupuncture) we would love to find her a forever home. She would be fine in an aviary or static display, and with some work she might be glove trained (although she has certainly had extensive negative experiences being handled for such intensive therapy, but some patience, a little weight reduction, and food association will go a long way in changing her attitude!)
