it can display all normal behaviors, but highly habituated.

Skunk will eagerly approach staff when we enter its enclosure, seeking us out and following us. Very food motivated and should be fed with tongs as it will bite fingers holding food in its excitement.
No fear of people, has been working with animal care and education staff since deeming it non releasable on crate training and target training to ease with placement.

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is a nature center in central NH dealing with native, non-releasable animals. We are looking to place a young of this year striped skunk who is in great health currently as we do not currently have space to house him. This male is de-scented but not spayed currently.
