Somewhat fearful, needs a more experienced trainer to work with it.
Nothing noted...they often do not see strangers. They swoop at a few members of my staff, but we are working with them to be more used to us.

Hello raptor enthusiasts, I'm looking for a new home for two male barn owls (they live separately).

They are fully flighted, have some exposure to training (including glove training), and have jesses, but might be better suited to being an exhibit animal unless your staff has the experience and expertise to work with them. They were purchased from a breeder before I started here. Our best guess puts them at about 3.5 years old.

Feel free to contact me off list at sean.ramsdell@paloalto.gov with any questions.

Thank you!
