This owl and its sibling fell from a very high nest during a storm. It wasn't possible to reunite. Someone else rescued them, took them to another rehabber and it was then transferred to us. We were not aware of any injury until after we had it for a few g because it was very young and the fracture had already calcified. The wing didn't appear to droop on intake.

Somewhat excited since it only sees us now for food. But wary.

I'm really hoping someone will take a chance on this fledgling. His nest was so high up and unstable that it was impossible to reunite. His wing injury had already partially healed by the time we got him. He's been at our center since only weeks old and has adapted to his injury. His sibling is fine and will be released later this season. Young enough to easily work with. Just need a third chance:)

I have no idea if it will continuous medication or care. It appears unfazed by its injury.
