Reason for entering rehabilitation.:

This adult female Diamondback Terrapin was admitted one year ago after a vehicle collision. She suffered a carapace fracture, a non-displaced skull fracture, beak fracture and an injury to her right hind foot. She had a pre-existing missing eye prior to the vehicle strike.

Adult female Diamondback Terrapin admitted to rehabilitation center one year ago after a vehicle strike. Terrapin had a carapace fracture, beak fracture, non-displaced skull fracture and missing right foot. Turtle had a pre-existing missing eye that looks to be lost much earlier in life or through birth defect.

Terrapin appears able to swim well in rubbermaid stock tank. Carapace fracture and skull fracture have healed. Terrapin has exhibited abnormal, social-like mentation, since admission.
