Wanted: Glove Trained Great Horned Owl for Educational Programing

Quogue Wildlife Refuge is seeking a glove-trained Great Horned Owl to join our education animal team!

We are currently looking for an owl with a calm, adaptable temperament who is comfortable in a variety of educational settings.

This would be a permanent transfer to Quogue Wildlife Refuge. We are committed to providing lifelong care for all of our resident animals, regardless of their ability to participate in programming.
The Quogue Wildlife Refuge currently cares for our retired Great Horned Owl, so we have experience with the species and its care, handling, and husbandry needs.

If you have a Great Horned Owl that may be a good fit, or know of an organization that may be able to assist with placement, we would love to hear from you!
Please call or email Alicia at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge with any inquiries or potential placements.
Thank you!
